Is it illegal to use a police badge when airsofting in a designated airsoft zone or private property?

Please no stupid comments. Just wondering. Whether or not the badge represents a real agency or a fake one...IE: CTU from 24 or NCIS What about velcro patches that say: POLICE or FEDERAL AGENT Are there legal ramifications when it comes to possessing one for the use of recreational airsofting on private property or airsoft fields? Its not illegal as long as im not going around carrying it in public right? Thanks!

1. well there is no problem wearing a vest that says police. and no, me and my Friends air soft in my backyard on weekends. just don't walk up to a police officer with a air soft oftgun and a police vest and you should be fine! ( WEAR YOUR ORANGE TIP) cuze if a cop sees you with it he will asume it is real and..... BAM! with a real gun.
2. No, it's perfectly legal, just like having a fully decked out military uniform. There's no reason for an officer to see it anyway, because, as you said, it's not illegal as long as you're not in public. An airsoft gun should never be visible in a public place, even if it's been painted completely orange.
