Breaking News WA police interviewing to Fremantle players of an incident at a pub?

The players are allegedly Des Headland and Micheal Walters. I don't know what if anything the have done but is was on channel 10 news here in SA. Its the last thing AFL needs after a season of controversy. I hope its just something minor.

Thats no good for the passionate supporters of the Fremantle football club that have been praying for something positive to come out of season 2009. Des Headland and Micheal Walters outa be ashamed of themselves, this week is possibly their biggest match this year and to come and be envolved with an incident at a pub is not fair on the club and its supporters. I do hope that it distracts them for the derby, I really would love to win a derby for once. Fremantle has been through enough on-field-dramas and this just doesnt help them.
Just heard them both interview on 92.9 in perth, they said there was some sorta brawl at a "gathering" they were both at, neither player was involved, just answering questions as witnesses thats all...Why is it evertime something comes up about WA players, the country holds its breath?...LOL

Des Headland is Michael Walter's mentor at the club. Des Headland of all people!!! Walters is a part aboriginal player who is currently playing with Swan Districts in the WAFL. Headland has a brain the size of a split pea & is always becoming involved in similar instances. Anyway this was a bit of a brawl involving about 20 people at a taxi rank outside Denis Cometti's Leederville pub. Police are making inquiries but no charges have been laid yet. Members of Headland's party were involved - don't know if he was....but if the way he plays football is any indication he would have been too scared to go near the rough stuff!
People should wait until they find out the true story - with all of the fact before jumping to conclusions and making accusations
